I'm so glad I'm a photographer...
...because then my images get to speak for me. I could never put words on paper, or type them into the webiverse, that would do justice for people like Kate Baldock, a Fargo artist who is making some big moves. Kate was the winner of the Branding Photography Experience giveaway held earlier this year and we were able to create some art of our own.
Kate had told me months ago about a studio she was planning to rent sometime this summer and felt we should wait until she was moved in and comfortable with her new space before finalizing her session date. A few delays kept us out of the space but it was certainly worth the wait. The large windows allowed the perfect amount of natural light to sweep across the studio as it bounced off the white brick walls. I know, I know, I'm no Billiam Shakespeare but I still gotta try a little before we get to the photos. They'll do all the talking anyway.
There were details that were important for Kate to capture in her branding experience. You can see she loves to use bright, vibrant colors that will add beauty to a dining room, living area, or corporate lobby. She's interested in the fashion industry and that's certainly showcased in the wardrobe she prepared for the afternoon. If I learned anything during this branding experience with Kate it's that she is brave. She's confident in herself and confident in her art. As a creative, that goes a long way. Like any other artist out there, I've had my fair share of doubts so it's nice to work with someone that makes the creative process a little easier.
